Story
Philip's Footprints was formed in 2008 after its founder, Jo Nash, left Maternity with empty arms and broken hearts. Since then, the charity has given over 250 memory boxes to bereaved families. As no family should have to leave Maternity with a memory box instead of their baby, the charity is investing in every pregnancy, in professional antenatal training and equipment, and information for pregnant women to reduce the rate of stillbirths, premature births and complications at birth.
Vicky and I have been supporters of Philip's Footprints since its foundation. We lost our daughter Katherine at full term in 2007, and so have experienced baby loss first hand. I know how much of a difference Philip's Footprints can make to those families touched by the loss of a baby.
Philip's Footprints may be a small charity with a small footprint, but it makes a massive difference to those bereaved families who need it and is improving outcomes for all Jersey babies, too.
Thank you for your support.
